North Korea congratulated Nicolas Maduro

The North Korean government congratulated President-elect of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, for his victory in last Sunday's election and wished him a "further tightening of ties" to a country with which it shares the "socialism". The choice of Maduro as president of Venezuela "is an expression of deep trust and expectations on him" the Venezuelan people, that has the "firm will to maintain the path of socialism," said Kim Yong-nam, leader of the Assembly Supreme People communist country.
